Clearly this was put together by someone with a great love for the piano and a profound understanding and appreciation of the instrument.  Inescapably this is written in someone’s very individual “style” and as such it will appeal to some and not to others.  This style differs from a lot of popular “LDS” music, which can be a good thing.  It’s flourishy without being show-offy.  It doesn’t seem easy to play, but that’s not a requirement for good music.  My old music director used to intone, “Do you think the audience cares how hard it is?”  Thank you for sharing your work and please, please keep making music!  [Review of “Master, the Tempest is Raging” from the 2013 Sacred Sheet Music Competition]
