The text to this beloved hymn was written by Horatio G. Spafford in the midst of overwhelming personal tragedy, and, together with the musical setting by Philip P. Bliss, is a resounding testimony of faith and hope. Written for vocal duet, but will work well for a vocal solo as well.  Vocal range: D4-E5 (part 1) and G3-B4 (part 2), or can be sung an octave lower for male voices. Piano accompaniment is intermediate level. 8 pages. Performance time: approximately 3:20. Also available for piano solo and piano duet.
