Intermediate piano solo arrangement of the hymn, “Does the Journey Seem Long?”

My arrangement of “Master, the Tempest is Raging” received the Award of Distinction in the 2013 Church Music Submission and was selected as the top entry in its category! It will be performed at a concert of the recognized music on February 14, 2014.

Piano solo arrangement of the somewhat lesser-known hymn, “Ye Simple Souls Who Stray.” I also updated the sheet music for “Old Rocking Chair” to include the harmony parts that my daughter added in the recording she did for me.

In the inaugural Sacred Sheet Music Competition sponsored by freeldssheetmusic.org, “Old Rocking Chair” won 1st place and “Master, the Tempest is Raging” won 3rd place!

“Teach Me to Walk in the Light” is now available as an intermediate piano solo arrangement.

The piano/organ/flute accompaniment for “Come, Follow Me/I Know That My Savior Loves Me” has been reworked and is now available as a piano solo arrangement of “Come, Follow Me.”

To start off the new year, a new, late intermediate, original piano solo: “Temple of Aeolus.” The Temple of Aeolus was the original name of Angels Landing, a spectacular hike in Zion National Park.

Christmas time is just too busy to find much time to write music, but I finally got half a day this weekend and am pleased to offer a new piano solo arrangement of a traditional spiritual/shepherd carol, “Rise Up, Shepherd, and Follow.” And a good message for us to remember in this sometimes dark world, as we all need to follow the light of the Savior while we tend to those in our care. A new piano solo arrangement of the hymn, “There Is Sunshine in My Soul Today.” And my medley arrangement of “I Need Thee Every Hour/Abide With Me; ‘Tis Eventide,” which was awarded special recognition in the LDS Music Submission and has been published on the church website, has been moved to the Free Music section.
