Description

A glacial erratic is a piece of rock that differs from the size and type of rock native to the area in which it rests. Erratic Rock State Park near McMinnville, Oregon, features a 90-ton erratic from the Northern Rocky Mountains that floated over 500 miles in an iceberg during the Ice Age. When the ice melted, the rock was left behind. This tribute to Erratic Rock is intended to feel slightly erratic at times: not even or regular in pattern or movement; unpredictable. Watch for guest appearances by Darth Vader and Indiana Jones! 8 pages. Included in the Departure songbook. Early intermediate version also available.
